New Twin Pack

Bearings Division launched new twin pack bearings TP201, TP202, TP203, TP204, TP301, TP302, TP304 & TP205 as part of its planned range of twin and multipack bearing. Each pack contains two nos of bearings. This range of product is aimed at small bulk consumers in the replacement market e.g. the mechanics and repair shop.

Taper Roller Bearings 320/32

Bearings Division has launched Taper Roller Bearing 320/32 for rear wheel application of Tata range of mini truck Ace. This bearing has been launched for the replacement market and would enhance our range of taper roller bearings and our offering to the replacement market for wheel application.

Ball Bearing 6204ELDLRS for wheel application of Nano Car

Bearings Division developed Ball Bearing 6204ELDLRS for wheel application of Nano Car. This redesigned bearing has 20% higher fatigue life and greater sealing ability. The bearing was redesigned based on field application data and is being offered to Tata Nano as a product upgrade for higher life is its wheel application. Tata Bearings is a 100% supplier of bearings to Tata Nano.

Ball Bearing 63/22 and Ball Bearing SP15

Two Ball Bearings 63/22 with Iso-nite TF cage for Gear Box application of new model of Motor cycle for Hero Honda Motor Ltd and SP15 Bearings with special corner radius for Sona Kayo Steering System (to be used in Nano Car steering) were developed in the month of February.

Ball Bearing 6308N2RS

Ball Bearing 6308N2RS was designed and developed for Gear Box application of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle Division. This bearing would be used in the new 410 GS3 model gear box for transmission application of Tata Motors commercial vehicle.

Ball Bearing 6304 EL and Ball Bearing 62/22 EL

Two Ball Bearings 6304 EL were designed and developed for Gear Box application of NANO car (Euro model) with increase fatigue life of 1.5 as compared to normal 6304 bearing and 62/22 EL was designed and developed for Gear Box application of exiting 3-wheler and New Model of 4 wheeler (0.5 tonner) of PVPL with increase fatigue life of 1.5 as compared to normal 62/22 bearing.

Ball Bearing 60132RS

One Ball Bearing 60132RS was launched for propeller shaft application of Tata range of commercial vehicle.

Ball Bearing 6302C3ELB

Tata Bearings developed a new ball bearing 6302C3ELB for engine application of Piaggio range of three wheelers. This bearing has been developed based on field application data to suit Indian road condition and is capable of taking at least 20% more load than the conventional bearing.

Ball Bearing 6202NC

Ball Bearing 6202NC has been designed and developed for the engine application in new model of motor cycle of Hero Honda Motors Ltd. The inner race is carbo-nitrided to increase the life of bearing by 3.5 times.

Super AP3 Grease

Bearings Division has launched a new brand of grease " Super AP3 grease" in collaboration with Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. This alternate grade of grease manufactured by Balmer Lawrie as per Tata Bearings. Specification will cater to the middle and the lower segment of the market where price is an important buying criteria. Bearings Division had earlier launched a premium quality grease with Indian Oil Ltd to service the higher end of the market. This would allow Bearings Division to provide offerings at both price levels and at different packing sizes.

Bearings Division has launched two new pack size of 20Kgs and 182 Kgs under its brand of grease " Super AP3 " in collaboration with Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. With this launch the entire range of different pack sizes of grease would now be available from Tata Bearings starting from 100 gms to 182 Kgs and will help in servicing the requirement of all segments including bulk consumers.
